About timer15minute.com
Who makes this timer, how it works and why it has no accounts, adverts or upsells.
What this is
timer15minute.com is a countdown timer that opens instantly, starts in one tap and gets out of the way. It began as a single 15 minute timer, which is still the page most people arrive on, and grew into a set of ready-made lengths and use cases so nobody has to type a duration in.
How it works
Everything runs in your browser. The countdown reads your device clock rather than counting animation frames, which is why it stays accurate in a background tab or on a locked phone. Nothing about your session is sent anywhere.
What it does not do
No account. No newsletter. No pop-up asking you to rate the timer while the timer is running. The only thing stored on your device is your alarm sound preference, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Suggestions
If a length or a use case is missing, say so on the contact page and it will probably get added.
